Charlie Moorby, Editor
Former Mollie Makes Deputy Editor and CrossStitcher Commissioning Editor, Charlie has been editing Simply Sewing for 9 years. She is passionate about all things needle and thread! With over sixteen years’ experience in craft publishing, she’s edited and curated over 15 bookazines, contributed projects to numerous craft books, websites and shopping TV channels, and has had her written and design work featured in All About You, Beads Trends, Project Calm, Radio Times, and The Guardian.
Sarah Taylor, Senior Technical Editor
Sarah Taylor is the Technical Editor for Simply Sewing magazine. She loves making her own clothes and her wardrobe consists nearly entirely of handmade garments. Sarah is a sewing blogger and ran her own fabric shop and sewing school for six years before coming to work with Simply Sewing. When not sewing, she loves trying her hand at other crafts, baking, singing in Bristol Show Choir and befriending any cats and dogs she meets!
Caitlin McDougall, Production Editor
Caitlin has always had a love for all things crafty ever since it has been engrained in her from a young age by her talented mum. From embroidery to jewellery making to painting, she likes to dabble in and out of new and old mediums whenever she finds inspiration. She is currently learning how to use her new sewing machine in hopes to be able to start making her own summer clothes. Caitlin previously worked on Love Embroidery magazine for two years, before making the move to Simply Sewing.

Sarah is an experienced digital editor and keen crafter. she has previously written features for The Guardian, In The Moment Magazine, Project Calm Magazine, Your Home, HomeStyle, Homes & Antiques, countryfile.com, radiotimes.com and yourhomestyle.uk. In her free time, she loves to unwind with a creative hobby and she’s tried everything from linocut printing to crochet.
