Planning your summer holidays? Don’t forget your passport! Leanne Garrity is here to make sure your passport is the prettiest one in the airport. Passport covers are great for protecting your passport from sticky surfaces and for spotting it amongst all your luggage, snacks, and bags. Leanne’s lovely and super simple passport cover pattern is made from leftover Liberty fabric, which means it’s not only affordable and a great stash buster, but it’s also pretty.
You could make your passport cover from leftover fabrics in your stash or, if you want to go the extra step, use fabric that matches your airport outfit and luggage. Make a matching luggage tag and crochet floppy sun hat, and you’re ready for your travels.
If you’re new to sewing, don’t worry, you can still make a passport cover. We have a guide to sewing for beginners and a how to use a sewing machine tutorial to make sure you’re fully clued up on the world of sewing. Now it’s over to Leanne for her free passport cover pattern.
